Yes, remote roles are available through Shift Group. But if you’re early in your career—especially just out of uniform and not located in a major metro area—being open to going into an office, even part-time, will create more opportunities. The truth is, limiting yourself to remote work can significantly reduce the number of companies you’ll be able to interview with. Many of us got our start in office settings, learning directly from peers and mentors, which helped shape us into professionals. That environment can be incredibly valuable at the beginning of your career.

Not anymore. While our roots are in entry-level placement, we’ve grown into something much bigger. Today, we work with companies hiring for a wide range of experience levels—from early career to mid-level, director, and even VP roles. If you’re a former athlete or veteran, no matter where you are in your professional journey, we have opportunities that match your background and ambition.

We work with a diverse mix of organizations—from early-stage startups to Fortune 500 companies and global brands listed on Wall Street. The opportunities you’ll have access to depend on several factors, including your preferred industry, geographic location, and whether you’re open to in-office work. Typical starting salaries for entry-level roles range from $50,000 to $100,000, depending on your life experience, the effort you put into the program, and the industry you choose. We’re also helping candidates build careers with real earning potential—many of our paths lead to roles where you can consistently make $250,000 to $300,000 within a few years. The opportunities are real if you’re ready to put in the work.

Resumes alone aren’t cutting it anymore. The job market is shifting fast, and video is quickly becoming the new standard. That’s why we focus on helping you tell your story on camera—because how you present yourself, your values, and your experience is what will truly set you apart. We use video to help you stand out, not just fit in.

The time you spend in training depends on the career path you choose, but most people complete it in roughly 4 to 15 hours total. It’s all online, self-paced, and designed to fit your schedule. You’ll go through an overview of the program, take assessments, explore industries, craft your story, meet with a coach, and build the foundational skills needed to thrive in your chosen field. Our structure gives you flexibility, but the more effort you put in, the more you’ll get out of it.

The training combines guided coaching with online learning to prepare you for the business world. You’ll start with a program overview and self-discovery work, then explore career paths and learn how to tell your story in a compelling way. From there, you’ll complete industry-specific training to develop the tactical skills you’ll need for your first year on the job. Once your training is complete, you’ll get full access to interview prep resources and guidance from our team for every opportunity you pursue.
