JR’S JOURNEY

Hockey was my identity.

For the first 24 years of my life, hockey was my entire purpose. It was all I knew. I played collegiately at Holy Cross. But like all things, my playing career eventually came to an end.

I was at a crossroads.

One day I woke up, and I couldn’t say I was a hockey player anymore. I struggled to find a new identity — to transition from an athlete to a real-world employee.

Then, I found my new purpose.

When I discovered the world of business, everything clicked. The same skills I learned as an athlete — competitiveness, resilience, teamwork — drove my success in the team-based atmosphere I craved. Now I want to help other athletes and veterans do the same.
